Fishmore Hall Review

Saved from dereliction in 2008, Fishmore Hall has been beautifully converted from a crumbling old mansion into a relaxing, contemporary place to stay. The good-size guest rooms are decorated in soothing color schemes, with heavy wood furniture and silk drapes. Overlooking the serene Ludlow countryside, Forelle's Restaurant serves well-regarded modern British cuisine (fixed price menus start at £39). Sunday lunch here is particularly good.
