The Bell Review

Just a few miles south of Stratford, this "pub with rooms" oozes imagination and individuality. Guest rooms, which reflect the owners' family history, are both sophisticated and funky, mixing antiques with brightly colored ornaments and cushions, even a coronet or two. Foodies beat a regular path to the door of the pub. The chef is mindful of the seasons and locality—spring asparagus or Warwickshire honey-roasted ham, for instance. You can order a picnic hamper from the extensive grazing board.
