Named for its noted chef, this restaurant has a sophisticated panache and prices to match. Expect the seasonal but not the usual, including named dishes: Herdwick is mutton with wild garlic, spearmint jelly and ewes curd, while Millionaire is a rich dessert made with several types of chocolate. There's a fixed-price dinner (£69) as well as a daily tasting menu (£90). The wine cellar has more than 1,000 bins. Reservations are essential on weekends, and children must be at least 12.
