Simon Radley at the Chester Grosvenor
Simon Radley at the Chester Grosvenor Review
Named for its noted chef, this restaurant has a sophisticated panache and prices to match. Expect the seasonal but not the usual, including named dishes: Montmorency is duck with fondant liver and liquid cherries, and Coffee is a chocolate cup with iced latte, espresso jelly, and coffee-bean brittle. There's a fixed-price dinner (£69) as well as a daily tasting menu (£90). The wine cellar has more than 1,000 bins. Reservations are essential on weekends, and children must be at least 12.
