Fodor's Review

One of a group of row houses built by the duke of Devonshire in 1860, this handsomely decorated property stands in the center of Buxton. Victorian and Edwardian antiques and prints furnish the individually decorated rooms, one of which sleeps three. Breakfasts, with options including oatcakes and kippers as well as the usual eggs, are taken in the dining room. Wi-Fi is free. On the top floor is a self-catering apartment.
