Fodor's Review

Intended as a kind of anchor point for Greenwich's big three attractions—the Old Royal Naval College, Cutty Sark, and the National Maritime Museum—this excellent, state-of-the-art visitor center includes interactive exhibitions on the history of Greenwich, plus an assortment of local treasures and artifacts. Most intriguing among them is a 17th-century "witch bottle," once used to ward off evil spirits. High-tech scans have revealed it to contain a mixture of human hair, fingernails, and urine.

East or West

Greenwich is a beautiful place where you can be in the Western meridian and then moving by one step you'll find yourself in the Eastern meridian. There is a huge park which is a popular place for locals and tourists alike. The sights from the National Maritime Museum over to London are spectacular!
