Wonderous spreads of Persian dips, small tasty plates, and grilled kebabs are order of the day at this cramped but inspired Iranian canteen beloved by hoards of Middle Easterners. Lines form on Westbourne Grove for the hot breads straight from the clay oven by the door. Try grilled smoked aubergine purée, chicken kebab, minced lamb skewers, or the zereshk polo (chicken with Iranian berries). Take Persian black tea and sweets, but know that the sour yogurt drinks are not to everyone's taste.
