Garden Court Hotel

Fodor's Review:

This small hotel is formed from two 19th-century town houses in a quiet garden square. Each room has a character of its own, some with original Victorian fittings. Note that all the rooms are individually decorated—some are nicer than others. Rooms with toilet and shower cost an extra £30, and a hot breakfast also ups the bill. The little, lush garden is a lovely hideaway when the sun shines. Pros: lovely garden; lots of charm; new elevator makes the upper floors more pleasant. Cons: not all rooms have private baths; some rooms need updating.

  • Hotel Details: 12 rooms, 10 with bath
  • In-hotel: bar, some pets allowed.
  • Rate includes: Full breakfast
  • Credit Cards: MC, V
  • Tube: Bayswater, Queensway
