Soho's favorite tapas bar on Frith Street is modeled on Cal Pep, the famed tapas joint in Barcelona, and similarly has only a few—23 in total—raised counter seats. It's no-reservations but you can strike up with fellow queuers, and the tapas is supreme. Nosh on small plates of shrimp, chorizo, quail, salt cod fritters, sardines, and octopus, or classics like cured Jabugo ham and Spanish tortilla. There's a decent selection of reds, whites, and sparkling Cava, and leave room for desserts like the crema Catalana or almond-based Santiago tart.
