This is where the young, enthusiastic traveler comes to find fellow partiers. It's also the cleverest youth hostel in town. Set in a former police barracks, its rooms are designed like prison cells, making the most of the bunk beds and dim lighting. The Internet café provides handy maps and leaflets. The Generator Bar has cheap drinks and a rowdy crowd, and the Fuel Stop cafeteria provides inexpensive meals. There are singles, twins, and dormitory rooms, each with a washbasin, locker, and free bed linen. Prices run from £10 per person for a bed in a 12-bed dorm room to £23 per person for a double room.
