Alhambra Hotel Review

One of the best bargains in Bloomsbury is a stone's throw from King's Cross and the Eurostar terminal, and though rooms are very small and the neighborhood is still "edgy," few places are this cheery and clean for the price. Television and Wi-Fi ("where service reaches") are included, but that's about it—you even have to ask for an alarm clock.

We sampled two ensuite rooms in February due to our split city itinerary. Both were full ensuite. Everything in both rooms seemed new and shiny. Nothing threadbare and shabby to be seen. Coffee/tea making in the rooms. 19" lcd tvs. Indications of upgrading happening in the hallways.
The location is up and coming. The 'ladies' are gone from Euston street. The citylink train to Gatwick runs from St Pancras now, as does the Eurostar. Five tube lines merge in Kings Cross, including the Picadilly line to Heathrow. The number 10 bus runs down the length of Oxford Street, around Hyde Park to Knightsbridge.
