Egerton House

Fodor's Review:

This utterly peaceful, small hotel was the first in the group that includes the Franklin and Dukes hotels. Chintz, floral, or Regency-stripe bedrooms overlook the gorgeous gardens in back. The two drawing rooms, decorated in high-Victorian style, are good places to write letters or relax with a drink from the honor bar.
