Fodor's Review:

Posh pies and trendy British classics are executed well at this ultramodern, diner-style canteen in Spitalfields's finance district. With booths and communal oak tables, a City lunch crowd wolfs down Coronation chicken and £9.50 savory pies (steak-and-kidney and chicken-and-tarragon are favorites), with mashed potatoes, greens, or mushy peas. Finish with treacle tart, blackberry jelly, or Eton Mess (strawberries, meringue, and cream), all at £5. Everything tastes good and is reasonably priced.
