Fodor's Review:

It's Cockney chitchat and all-day English breakfasts at this century-old family-owned landmark café near Brick Lane and Columbia Road markets. With stained glass, deco marquetry, and pics autographed by EastEnders soap stars, it's the hole-in-the-wall for the fry-ups that Londoners adore: eggs, bacon, toast, baked beans, black pudding, and "bubble 'n' squeak" (cabbage and mashed potatoes). Your arteries may clog up, but at least the wallet survives: almost everything is less than £8 but remember it's cash-only.
