Lime Tree Hotel

$$-$$$, Victoria

User Rating: * 1.2

Fodor's Review:

On a street filled with budget hotels, the Lime Tree stands out for its gracious proprietors, the Davies family, who endeavor to provide a homey atmosphere as well as act as concierges. The flowery rooms include tea/coffeemakers. The triples and quads are suitable for families, but children under five are not allowed. The simple breakfast room covered with notes and gifts from former guests opens onto a garden.

Disappointment

Posted by mannshel from USA on 6/17/08

The room and common areas were not as pictured on their website. My room was tiny and unattractive. After a night without heat (the heat for the entire hotel is on a timer..you should know this!)in February, I checked out and was charged another night for changing my reservation. I found this unfair since they did not live up to the requirements of a decent room.
