The Pavilion Hotel

Fodor's Review:

This eccentric Victorian town house calls itself the Pavilion Fashion Rock 'n' Roll Hotel, and that should give you an idea that this is a trendy address for fashionistas, actors, and musicians. Often used for fashion shoots, the kitsch bedrooms veer wildly from Moroccan fantasy (the "Casablanca Nights" room) to acres of plaid ("Highland Fling") and satin ("Enter the Dragon"). You'll take some photos of your own here. Triples and family rooms are ideal for groups looking for space and style. Pros: small and friendly; great for arty types. Cons: few guest services; neighborhood has little for visitors.
