Elegant and refined, Club Gascon is one of the sexiest places to dine in London. Maybe it's the leather-wall interior, the cut flowers, sublime service, or the way the tapas-style southwestern French cuisine is served (sometimes on a rock rather than on a plate). There's squab pigeon and roast rabbit, but this restaurant specializes in foie gras from start to finish: kick off with duck foie gras with black truffle and finish with it for dessert, served with grapes and gingerbread. You'll find this French star near the Smithfield wholesale meat market.

Keep in mind: Reservations essential.
