This historic guesthouse is on a fashionable shopping street in Piccadilly near the delightful department store Fortnum & Mason. Flexible room configurations, including sitting rooms that convert to bedrooms, mean families have plenty of space. In fact, the hotel rolls out the red carpet for children, providing anything from high chairs and coloring books to kiddie-sized bathrobes and personal nannies. For grown-ups, there is access to a nearby gym, complimentary newspapers, and a shoe shine. Pros: great for families; nice extras. Cons: no restaurant or bar.
