Miller's Residence

Fodor's Review:

From the moment you ring the bell and are ushered up the winding staircase flanked by antiques and curios, you know you've entered a realm where history is paramount. The building is so packed with Jacobean, Victorian, Georgian, and Tudor antiques that if it weren't so elegant it might remind you of your grandmother's attic. Run by Martin Miller of Miller's Antique Price Guides fame, this town house serves as his home, gallery, and B&B. Sip a complimentary evening cocktail in the long, candlelit drawing room with fireplace while mixing with other guests or the convivial staff. Pros: extraordinary-looking place; great for antiques fans. Cons: quirky hotels are not for everyone; few amenities; no room service.
