Vinopolis
Vinopolis Review
Spread over 2.5 acres next to Borough Market, Vinopolis allows you to sample wines from around the world. Wine-tasting tours start at £27 (which includes seven drink tokens) and there are a number of packages, including an option that features tastings of various spirits in addition to the wines—as well as comedy nights (check online for details). There are three restaurants in adddition to a wine bar that offers a wide range of wines by the glass. If anything strikes your fancy, two independent retailers have outlets (one specializing in whisky, the other in wine) on the premises. Keep in mind that the last entry is two hours before the scheduled closing time (except on Sundays, when it's three), and that you should allow at least two hours for a tour.
