The Providores & Tapa Room

Fodor's Review:

New Zealander Peter Gordon scores highly with his Pacific Rim fusion food on Marylebone High Street. Have a classy meal in the formal restaurant upstairs or try the packed and more relaxed ground-floor Tapa Room. All sorts of exotica are on the menu, from tamarind and coconut laska (spicy noodle soup) to New Zealand kumara (sweet potato). On Sunday morning you'll find the whole of Marylebone village reading the Sunday supplements. New Zealand venison with cassava chips, or Wagyu beef with bone marrow and Parmesan sauce are typical delights.
