Fodor's Review

British game doesn't get much better than at this forest-floor and game-lover's paradise and London's only Michelin-starred gastro-pub off Fulham Broadway. Co-owned by game-shooting enthusiast and two-starred Aussie chef Brett Graham, you'll find a catalog of awesome game-based dishes like haunch of Berkshire roe deer with pickled mushrooms or Muggleswick grouse with potato and malt to keep you tickled. Tuck into game pie with Somerset cider jelly, Irish Sika deer with smoked bone marrow, or Herdwick lamb with rosemary curd in a relaxed 1840s comfy-sofas-and-Sunday-newspapers home-away-from-home Sloaney pub setting. You'll find thoughtful openers like treacle-cured smoked salmon with spelt are served on a gnarled slab of wood, and there are popular carve-your-own whole-roast lamb, pork, or beef joints for the table—and yes, you can ask for doggy bags on the way out!
