Fodor's Review

This classy 1896 side-alley seafood haven is a discreet alternative to the more overtly celeb-central Scott's, 34, or The Ivy. Beautifully orchestrated by longtime maître d' John Andrews, Sheekey charms with warm wood panelling, vintage showbiz black-and-white portraits, and twinkly lava-rock bar tops. Opt for snappingly fresh Atlantic prawns, pickled Arctic herrings, scallop, shrimp, and salmon burgers or the famous Sheekey Fish Pie. Better still, sip Gaston Chiquet Champagne and down half a dozen briny Fine de Claire rock oysters at the antique mirrored oyster bar for the ultimate in true romance.
