Fodor's Review

U.S.–based Austrian übernuber star chef Wolfgang Puck amps up the steak stakes at this ultraexpensive, superprime steak emporium on Park Lane. Against a mid-1990s luxe backdrop of Damien Hirst kaleidoscope paintings, globe lights, and a 1980s sound track of T'Pau and Bon Jovi, an army of hedge fund and private equity knuckleheads go gangbusters for perfectly seared prime cuts from England, Japan, and the United States. Grilled over charcoal and hardwood, and finished under a 650°C broiler, there's awesome 35-day Arkansas Creekstone filet mignon for £36, USDA Black Angus New York sirloins for £58, and a wet-aged 8-ounce rib eye of A5 100% Wagyu Omi beef from Shiga in Japan for a top whack £140. Add bone marrow, french fries, white truffles, chimichurri, or creamed spinach with a fried egg on top for the whole nine yards.
