Fodor's Review

Japanese spectacular Aqua Kyoto is a high-concept import from Hong Kong that looks like a set from a moody James Bond film, with a sunken central sushi counter that's straight out of the Starship Enterprise. Set on the fifth floor of the former Dickens & Jones building off Regent Street, there's enough culinary theater and high-end sushi, sashimi, tempura, and grilled tepanyaki dishes to keep the rich kids, glamor gals, and after-work suits coming

back for more. Try beef teriyaki with chili ponzu sauce, green tea noodles with Wagyu sashimi, or miso black cod. There's a wonderful, open-air terrace in summer overlooking Liberty deptartment store.
