Locals line up for this big, bright, and buzzing contemporary restaurant just opposite the Museum of Science and Industry. If they're not tucking into sizzling, stir-fried balti dishes (a don't-miss), they might be enjoying a mild and creamy korma, rogan josh (with tomatoes and coriander), or a sweet-and-sour dhansak dish (with pineapple and lentils)—all popular staples. Vegetarians have plenty of choices, too. Be prepared to wait at busy times.
