Lancashire and the Peaks Nightlife

Philharmonic Dining Rooms

Updated 05/29/2014

Fodor's Review

Opposite Philharmonic Hall, the Philharmonic (commonly know as "The Phil") is a Victorian-era extravaganza decorated in rich woods, ornate plaster ceilings, elaborate brass trims, and colorful skylights. (Even the bathrooms are palatial, with their pink marble fittings and mosaic floors.) Choose a comfy spot in one of the dining rooms and order one of the award-winning ales and perhaps such pub grub as hand-battered fish-and-chips, raised here to a whole new level.
