Hope Street Hotel Review

Liverpool's first boutique hotel is in a converted carriage warehouse built in the style of a Venetian palazzo. The Hope Street Hotel puts the emphasis on traditional, natural materials and retains the exposed brickwork and cast-iron columns from the 1860s. A stunning oak staircase runs the height of the building. Light, elegant bedrooms are minimalist in style, with crisp white bed linens and custom-made walnut and cherry pieces; the rooms benefit from under-floor heating. The London Carriage Works restaurant concentrates on seasonal produce.
