Fodor's Review

Built in 1712 and sometimes wrongly attributed to Christopher Wren, St. Ann's is Manchester's oldest surviving classical building. The plain, elegant interior has a gallery supported by Tuscan columns, and light from the clear windows enhances the dark-wood pews and chancel.
