Boston House

Fodor's Review:

Built for railway executives in 1849, this Victorian stone house designed by Augustus Pugin, on a private drive directly above the train station, is one of Windermere's oldest buildings. The friendly owners will collect you from the station on request. One of the casual, country-style bedrooms has a four-poster.
