East Anglia Restaurants

Le Talbooth

Le Talbooth Review

This sophisticated restaurant is set in a Tudor house beside the idyllic River Stour. There are lighted terraces where food and drinks are served on warm evenings and where jazz and steel bands play on summer Sunday evenings. Inside, original beams, leaded-glass windows, and a brick fireplace add to the sense of history. The superb British fare at lunch and dinner may include filet of John Dory with crayfish and anchovies, duck breast with red cabbage and parsley root, or Dedham Vale beef with Madeira jus.
