Walberswick

Walberswick Review

For many years this tranquil little village on the B1387 was the haunt of arty types. The village is separated from Southwold by the mouth of the River Blyth, over which there's a footbridge (about 1 mile inland), but no main road bridge. In summer a boatman ferries foot passengers in a rowboat every few minutes. The cost is 90p.
