Snape Maltings
Snape Maltings Review
It's well worth a stop to take in the peaceful River Alde location of this cultural center. It includes art galleries and crafts shops in distinctive large brick buildings once used to malt barley. You can pause at the tea shop or the Plough & Sail pub. Snape Maltings has special events year-round, such as the Britten Festival in October. Leisurely river cruises (£7.50) leave from the quayside during high tide.
