National Express serves the region from London's Victoria Coach Station. Average travel times: 2 1/2 hours to Bury St. Edmunds, 2 hours to Cambridge, 2 hours to Colchester, 4 hours to Lincoln, and 3 hours to Norwich. Information about local Norfolk service and county service is available from the Norfolk Bus Information Centre. First buses serve parts of the region. The largest bus company is Stagecoach. Traveline can answer public transportation questions.

Cutting Costs

A FirstTourist ticket (available on the bus) from First gives a day's unlimited travel on the whole network for £9; a family pass for two parents and two children costs £20. Stagecoach sells Megarider tickets (£5) for seven days' travel within Cambridge.
