Purslane Review

Daughters treating their mothers, ladies who shop and gentlemen cutting a dash all come here, lured by the imaginative and well-presented menu and cool, unfussy surroundings. The freshest of Cornish fish, smoked eel from the River Severn, and Dorset oysters are accompanied by unusual, but delicious vegetables like wild garlic, alexanders and radish shoots. The accent is on fish, but you will also find Gloucestershire chorizo and hay-baked rabbit, and plenty of local cheeses. Service is friendly and knowledgeable.
