For a peaceful stay in a traditional Cotswold cottage, you can't beat this guesthouse. Located in the hamlet of Turkdean, a couple of miles northwest of Northleach, the house has spotless bedrooms overlooking lovely gardens. In the morning you'll wake to the sounds of sheep and birds and feast on breakfasts of homemade breads, jams, and compotes using seasonal fruit. "Kitchen suppers" are available by prior arrangement, as are afternoon teas, which you can take in the summer house.
