In this small country pub just outside Chipping Campden, plain wooden tables and benches, a flagstone floor, and a roaring fire provide the backdrop for excellent food. In summer there's a small outside space as well. Sweet potato and coconut soup, curried roast cod, and sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream appear on the menu. If you feel like staying overnight, upstairs are four bedrooms furnished in a contemporary style.
