Fodor's Review

The fish is chilling on the counter and the charcoal is glowing in the oven as you sit at your mosaic-topped table and watch the chefs at work. Tucked away in a little courtyard, the bistro is intimate yet roomy, bustling yet snug. Treat yourself to a chilled sherry, then be tempted by game terrine with toasted chocolate and beetroot bread, local Gatcombe lamb, or fish straight up from Cornwall. You'll be spoiled for choice by the excellent choices on the British cheese board. It's advisable to book a table in advance.
