With its acre of lawns and gardens, this former stationmaster's home, now a bed-and-breakfast, makes a peaceful refuge from the tourist traffic of Broadway, a 10-minute walk away. Spacious rooms are cream-color and have soothing, neutral furnishings; bathrooms are immaculate. Local bacon, sausages, cheese scones, and jams make their way on to tables set with crisp white cloths at breakfast. A wood-burning stove adds warmth in winter, and gardens and an orchard provide space for relaxing in summer. Children over 12 are welcome by prior arrrangement.
