Queen's Head

Fodor's Review:

An excellent stopping-off spot for lunch or dinner, this pub has a courtyard out back that's perfect for a summer afternoon. The bench in front, under a climbing rose, makes a relaxing spot for imbibing outdoor refreshment. Besides standard pub grub, including ploughman's lunches, sandwiches, sausage and mash, and chicken pie, there are daily specials such as mushroom stroganoff.
