This is the region's top spot for high-class vegetarian cuisine at reasonable prices. Inspiration from around the world shows in such satisfying concoctions as Keralan thali—coconut and vegetable curry with cauliflower bhaji (a mildly spiced side dish) and coriander rice—and sweet potato and haloumi (an eastern Mediterranean cheese with mint leaves in it) salad. The dining rooms, on two floors, are small without being crowded, and there's usually a soft jazz soundtrack.
