This is the region's top spot for high-class vegetarian cuisine at reasonable prices. Inspiration from around the world shows in such satisfying concoctions as Keralan thali -- coconut and vegetable curry with cauliflower bhaji (a mildly spiced side dish) and coriander rice -- and sweet potato and haloumi (an eastern Mediterranean cheese with mint leaves in it) salad. The dining rooms, on two floors, are small without being crowded, and there's usually a soft jazz soundtrack.
