Building of Bath Museum

Fodor's Review:

This absorbing museum in the Georgian Gothic-style Countess of Huntingdon's Chapel is an essential stop on any exploration of Bath, particularly for fans of Georgian architecture. It explains and illustrates the evolution of the city, with examples of everything from window design and wrought-iron railings to marquetry and other interior ornamentation.

  • Cost: £4
  • Open: Mid-Feb.-Nov., Tues.-Sun. and national holidays 10:30-5. Last entry 45 mins before closing.
