Havreholm Slot Review

A few miles southwest of Hornbæk beach, this small former castle is surrounded by wooded grounds and overlooks the Havrehrolm Lake. Rooms and suites are in separate cabinlike quarters with designer furniture, Bang & Olufsen TVs, and balconies or terraces. A sitting room and library, private golf course, four tennis courts, horseback riding arrangements and indoor and outdoor pool offer plenty of opportunity for outdoor activity. The restaurant serves elaborate French cuisine at dinner and smørrebrød and Danish comfort food at lunch.
