Zealand: Places to Explore

Odsherred

Humans have lived on the Odsherred peninsula since the Stone Age—and who can blame them, since its steep cliffs, white-sand dunes, and acres of forests provide both natural beauty and a defense from intruders? Dragsholm Castle, which once belonged to the bishop at Roskilde Cathedral and later to a local nobleman, has since been converted to a hotel. There's also plenty of beach life on the silky sand surrounding Sejerø Bugt (Sejerø Bay).
