Ballebro Færgekro Review

This inn, overlooking the calm waters of the Als fjord, seems like a location for an Ingmar Bergman film. Mists hover over the water; a gingerbread-style house is surrounded by broad lawns. The country-inspired guest rooms are very comfortable, with large bathrooms and good-quality amenities. A traditional Danish breakfast of cold cuts, cheeses, fresh breads, and jellies is served buffet-style or brought to your table on a three-tiered tray. This inn is a perfect spot for a romantic getaway—and it's steps from the car ferry that takes you on a five-minute ride to Als.
