Silkeborg Museum Review

The Silkeborg Museum isn't only the oldest building in the town, dating from 1767, it also houses the city's main attractions: the 2,400-year-old Tollund Man and Elling Girl, two bog people preserved by the chemicals in the soil and water. In addition, there are exhibits that showcase trades made famous in the area, such as clog and wheel making, and pottery and papermaking. The museum also has a fine collection of old Danish glass, a café, and a gift shop.
