This elegant canal-front restaurant has developed a loyal clientele—both foreign and local—for its old-fashioned atmosphere and its innovative fish dishes. Pale-green walls are simply adorned with paintings of old Copenhagen. The menu includes such specialties as pan-grilled lobster flavored with vanilla oil, and monkfish fillets in a beurre-blanc sauce flavored with arugula and tomato. Jackets are recommended. Krogs is also open for lunch until 4 PM.
