Fodor's Review:

You have a choice at this informal, upbeat eatery: for light meals (at light prices), try the lively front café, where you can settle into a red-and-white wicker chair next to the large picture windows and watch the world go by on chic Pilestræde. Try the spring rolls with smoked salmon and cod, flavored with ginger and coriander. The café also serves a tasty brunch (yogurt with muesli, toast with turkey, mozzarella, and bacon, and black currant-fig marmalade) from 10 to 1. For more-substantial fare, venture into the restaurant decorated with old French Perrier ads and lighted with white candles. Starters include a potato-and-wasabi soup served with a spicy crab cake, and bruschetta topped with a mango salsa. Main dishes range from halibut stuffed with crabmeat and herbs to marinated duck breast served with sun-dried tomatoes and fennel salad sprinkled with pine nuts. By night the place turns into a lively bar and club. There is also a Café Ketchup in Tivoli, with a large terrace and a similar menu.

This was one of our most disappointing dining experiences. The restaurant is divided into 2 parts, separated only by a partition so there is very little difference in the ambience, just that there are tablecloths in the pricier section. We were told that the pricier section was french food and the cheaper was Asian but having seen the menu when we arrived, we decided to opt for the asian and cheaper menu even though we had booked the pricier one. The service is very slow and the waiter had to double check if I had ordered a cocktail even though he had started serving the wine. The food is over-embellished with too many flavours, though the portions are healthy. Overall, not worth the money.

We ate lunch in the (relatively) inexpensive cafe in the front. The sandwiches and salads are well prepared and a bit creative. The ketchup is homemade and is more like marinara sauce. The branch at Tivoli is only the expensive part of the restaurant.
