Kunstindustrimuseet

Fodor's Review:

Originally built in the 18th century as a royal hospital, the fine rococo museum houses a large selection of European and Asian crafts. Also on display are ceramics, silverware, tapestries, and special exhibitions that often focus on contemporary design. The museum's excellent library is stocked with design books and magazines. A small café also operates here.

  • Cost: DKr 40; additional fee for some special exhibits
  • Open: Permanent collection Tues.-Sun. noon-4, Wed. noon-6; special exhibits Tues.-Fri. 10-4 (Wed. 10-6), weekends noon-4
