Københavns Bymuseum

Fodor's Review:

For a surprisingly evocative collection detailing Copenhagen's history, head to this 17th-century building in the heart of Vesterbro. A meticulously maintained model of 16th-century Copenhagen is kept outdoors from May through September; inside there is also a memorial room for philosopher Sren Kierkegaard, the father of existentialism.

  • Cost: DKr 20, free Fri.
  • Open: May-Sept., Wed.-Mon. 10-4; Oct.-Apr., Wed.-Mon. 1-4
