Prague by the Numbers
Prague neighborhoods are sometimes referred to by numbers corresponding to their postal district. There are 10 postal districts, but typically, visitors explore the following areas:
Prague 1: Staré Mesto (Old Town), Josefov (the Jewish Quarter), Hradcany (the Castle Area), Malá Strana (the Lesser Quarter), Northern Nové Mesto (New Town)
Prague 2: Southern Nové Mesto (New Town), Vysehrad, western Vinohrady
Prague 3: Eastern Vinohrady, Zizkov
Prague 5: Smíchov
Prague 7: Letná, Holesovice
